Update for: m25, m35, m50, m70, r45, r90, r1000, and v35
Release notes for Enterprise Monitoring Point version 12.3.0.
- Per-interface name server configuration—We have changed the behavior of the DNS configuration so that if there are name servers configured on an interface (either directly or via DHCP), all DNS requests initiating from that interface will only be sent to the name servers configured on it. Previously, DNS requests were made to all name servers known to the Monitoring Point.
- Classification library enhancements—The Usage Monitoring classification library has been updated with new applications, including:
- Elisa Viihde
- HBO Nordic
- Yle Areena
- Classification library improvements—Usage Monitoring application classification improvements have also been made to applications including:
|MP-1537||Software update||We fixed an issue where a software update would fail if a Monitoring Point received a corrupt file. To reduce the chances of this reoccurring, we now attempt to access additional upgrade servers when we detect a file corruption.|
|MP-1484||Addressing||We fixed an issue where monitoring between devices on the /31 subnet was being blocked.|
|MP-1471||ACL||We fixed an issue where traffic between two internal services was dropped when ACL rules to manipulate ssh traffic were configured.|
|MP-869||Usage reports||We fixed an issue where PostgreSQL traffic was being classified as TCP application traffic rather than as PostgreSQL application traffic in Usage reports.|
