New features
- DNS monitoring now available!! - Available now for Selenium-based web paths on EMPs; nothing to configure and no additional licensing required. DNS monitoring provides insight into the effect of DNS resolution times on end-user Experience. The DNS chart shows average and maximum DNS resolution times as well DNS service availability for up to a year. DNS monitoring data can be collected from Enterprise Monitoring Points running software version 11.3.0 or later.
- Route visual with BGP now available!! - Fully integrated with Delivery, the Route visual with BGP feature is now available. This feature provides a way to visualize routing for up to 20 network paths over time, enabling you to investigate problems that may be due to routing. The Route Visual instantly shows hops that are common to multiple paths and how this routing changes over time. The addition of live BGP data lets you see the public networks crossed by your paths. Note that the Hops view can show all your historical data but Network view data is only available from the time of this software release.
Enhancements
- New r1000 Monitoring Point!—–Application updates are included in preparation for the new data center monitoring point, r1000.
- Web application alerts via API—We have added the ability to monitor web application events via the /v3/observer API endpoint. This is in addition to the test events, sequencer events, and service quality events that can currently be monitored. See APM Event Integration for details.
