Update for: m25, m35, r45, v35

Release notes for Enterprise Monitoring Point version 10.1.0.x.

Enhancements and new features

  • Experience Chrome—Enterprise Monitoring Points now execute Selenium workflows using Chrome. With Chrome, Experience scripts run on the internet’s most popular browser so that they better represent a typical end user’s experience. The upgrade will be deployed to your monitoring points depending on whether they are configured for managed, scheduled, or manual upgrades. For full details, see the AppNeta Blog post that describes this enhancement.
  • Web proxy on web paths—Experience scripts can now access web apps via a web proxy. Web proxies can be configured on a per web path basis and work with Selenium scripts on monitoring points that use the Chrome browser.
  • Domain blacklist support—Just a reminder, the previously released blacklisting feature requires Chrome and is therefore available today on EMP 10.1.0 based web paths. The blacklistUrl command can be used in Selenium scripts to stop the Chrome browser from loading user-specified content. This can be useful to exclude the load time of non-critical page resources from overall page load time, or to prevent usage analytics and marketing metrics from being skewed by regular execution of Selenium workflows.
