Update for: m25, m35, r45, v35

Release notes for Enterprise Monitoring Point version 9.14.0.x.

Enhancements and new features

  • Expanded wireless support—We have added the ability to configure the monitoring point to access WPA-EAP (TLS) and WPA-EAP (PEAP) wireless networks.
  • Non-scanned wireless networks supported—We have added the ability to configure the monitoring point to join wireless networks that don’t show up in the scanned networks list.
  • MAC address visibility—We have updated the Web Admin interface to include the MAC address of applicable interfaces in the Network State table.
  • WPA wireless connection issue details—We have updated the Web Admin interface to display the reason why a WPA wireless interface fails to configure. In addition, the API has been similarly updated to provide this detail in the GET /wireless/{interface_name} and GET /appliance/network/ API calls.
  • New applications supported—The Usage Monitoring classification library has been updated with new applications including:
    • Adding Skype for Business and Skype Instant Messaging as separate classifications from existing Skype classifications
    • Ammyy and Anydesk remote desktop software
    • VPN traffic generated using ExpressVPN
    • VPN traffic generated using the Zero VPN app on mobile devices
